Pine AZ Engagement: Donald & Terena
One of the big hopes Terena had for her Pine AZ Engagement Session was to have it look like Spring. The day of their session a storm rolled in, and it just got worse and worse. I went ahead north of Payson to the trailhead to see if it was even possible and as I sat there in my car with the heater on it started to hail snow. You know, snow that comes down in little balls instead of flakes, but it’s softer than normal hail? Yeah, that. It definitely did not look or feel like spring and it didn’t look like it would let up any time soon.
Talking with Terena we made the hard call to hold off a day and see if we got a better chance. Spring in Arizona is crazy. The next day was warm, clear, and BEAUTIFUL! It had all the spring vibes and I was so glad that we waited! It also gave Terena’s dress time to finally arrive as it was late. It all worked out for the good!
Pine AZ Engagement: Dressy Outfit
While Donald was serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, his family moved to the Gila Valley. Little did he know that move would change his life! He came home to a new town and a new house, but because he was there he was able to meet Terena, who was attending Eastern Arizona College there in the Gila Valley.
These two make such a comfortable, sweet, and playful couple. I loved seeing their cozy chemistry and how they light up around each other!
The Ring
While the couple is changing, I love to snag the engagement ring and get a few shots of it with my macro lens. It’s always fun to look around and see what I can use to showcase the ring and the setting we were in.
Pine AZ Engagement: Casual Outfit
Their first wedding (the small family only Covid-style party before the big party) is later this week and I can’t wait to be there to celebrate with them! Be sure to follow me over on Instagram to catch the first peeks of Donald and Terena as husband and wife!
