This Park hosts grassy hills, willow trees, three small lakes/ponds, and a few vintage buildings for backdrops. I have not had clients yet want the buildings in photos, but these are available for anyone interested!

Information about Green Valley Park

• Green Valley Park is located down Main St. in Payson, AZ. It is a public park available year round. Weekend evenings the park sees heavy use but we can work the angles to avoid other people in your photos.
• This park works at all hours of the day for photos. As the ponds are accessible from nearly any angle we can move to make the angle of the sun work best. Morning and evening have the softest light, especially if you want to be on the grass or in the willow trees.
• With parking and sidewalks, this spot is easily accessible by all ages and in all footwear.
• There are ducks, geese, and other waterfowl that visit the pond daily. Geese poop in the grass is a big possibility. We’ll work to avoid any poop, but you should be aware that it’s likely there before you go barefoot in the grass or let kids roll down the hills.
• All session types, from casual lifestyle family photos to extended family photos to couples sessions, work really well at this location. Especially if you are looking for somewhere easy to get to!
