Jami grew up in this area and when she brought her menfolk home for a visit from back east, she knew she needed some Payson AZ family photos! Jami and I went to the same college together, but this was the first time I got to meet Brad and the boys. These five are so close knit and fun together! It was sweet to watch them interact and to capture their family love.

When we began to discuss locations, Jami couldn’t decide if she wanted desert or mountain…just something different from the norm in their home on the east coast. Thankfully I know just the spot where it’s possible to get a bit of mountain and desert all together!

The grass was spectacular after our crazy monsoon and the evening glow was perfect. I just loved my time with this fun family!

There was no problem getting smiles and laughs out of this boy! He was ready with his own poses and knew right where he wanted to stand.

Kason was so good natured and ready to do whatever he was instructed to do (or whatever was needed to get his brothers to smile and laugh).

Oh give me all the gummy baby smiles! He was so deliciously squishy and sweet!!

And of course we have to get a few of the sweethearts. They are absolutely beautiful together!

I just love the views of the grass and cacti with the forest rolling over the hills and stretching up into the Mazatzal Mountains! This view never ever every gets old and I love bringing people here for the portraits! It’s the perfect Payson AZ family photos spot!
