Rim Country Engagement Session: Cody & Stephanie

You’ve seen this spot before, but I love that this Rim Country Engagement Session has a different vibe than the others in this location. This was my first session in winter here and it still is spectacular. We traded the green grass of summer for a gorgeous field of golden dried grasses and a wispy cloudy sky.

Cody and Stephanie are beautiful together! They can’t not smile when they look at each other and are so excited to take next step towards eternity together.

Looking through the photos I bet you’d never guess that Cody was recovering from a back injury in these photos. Just days before his movement was limited, so we were incredibly grateful he could still make it for the photos. We added movement where it was safe to do so, but these two are pro snugglers anyway so it made it easy to get tons of loving, snuggly, happy shots together!

Ready for one of my all time favorite ring shots?! Okay, I know…I say that at almost every single session I do. They are all my favorite! But I do love how the grass swirls work compositionally with the ring in this shot!

And outfit change! I encourage all my Prickly Pear VIP couples to bring at least one change of clothes to give variety and change up the feel of the session. Sometimes just a quick change of outfits can add a whole new feel to the session! The soft skirt and sweater they coordinated together added up to the perfect winter dressy touch.
