Downtown Phoenix Wedding: Antonio and Sabrina

This Downtown Phoenix Wedding was full of firsts for me, and I LOVED every single minute of it. Working with Antonio and Sabrina has been a delight in every possible way. Sabrina is organized, full of joy, and on the ball. Antonio is calm, open-hearted, and supportive. They are a powerhouse of a match!

The day was full of beautiful and sentimental touches, every detail planned out, and their closest people to celebrate with.

We started the day at the Westin Downtown Phoenix. We could have photographed there all day…it was beautiful and so fun! Their rooms were so perfect for their getting ready memories and photographs.

Sabrina had such an amazing hair and make-up team there. They NAILED her glamorous and romantic look. They were spectacular! It’s always fun to watch the process and to watch a good team do their thing.

Sabrina had a super fun idea for the day: she made small videos of the day to piece together as her own wedding vlog! It was fun to see her pull out her phone periodically and record her thoughts, what was going on, and her joy.

I did a full on happy dance when I saw this next picture pop up.

We may or may not (aka most definitely) shot these in the bathroom…when the light is that creamy and gorgeous, you take advantage of it for sure!!

Antonio’s suite next door to Sabrina’s was the meeting spot for the guys and a few family. With a game on in the background and the excited atmosphere, it was a fun place to pop into.

Downtown Phoenix Wedding: First Look at the Westin Hotel

We almost didn’t check out the pool area when we were scoping out the First Look area. There were some BEAUTIFUL spots at the Westin for them to share their First Look. I’m so glad we popped up to just see what the area was like!! We would have missed out on a gem of a location with the fabulous backdrop, the open area with tons of soft reflected light, and no one else around. It really was perfect in every way.

Antonio and Sabrina exchanged personal vows there together as part of their First Look. It made the moment all that more special!

Then we couldn’t leave without grabbing quick photographs of the two of them there!

And suddenly it was time to be off to the ceremony!

Downtown Phoenix Wedding: Ceremony on the Steps of the Historic City Hall

The ceremony was held on the steps of the Historic Phoenix City Hall. With the road construction around it was a little hairy finding parking and accessing it, but it also meant that traffic noise around the area was drastically reduced. It felt like we had the whole downtown area to ourselves!

Why don’t we build things this cool anymore?! This building served as an amazing location for their ceremony!

In the words of Sabrina, “FINALLY!!!!”

Don’t you LOVE the classic Hollywood Glam style they all pull off together? Such a gorgeous wedding party!

Bride and Groom Portraits

Antonio and Sabrina had scouted the area thoroughly and found a parking garage where they wanted to have their sunset portraits. Even though the sky was thickly overcast, we had gorgeous light to create their portraits.

Aren’t they each killing it?! They knocked their portraits (individually and together) out of the ball park!

Downtown Phoenix Wedding: Dinner at Mancuso’s

The festivities then moved to Mancuso’s Restaurant a few blocks away. The weather was PERFECT, the atmosphere cozy, and the food was INCREDIBLE!! Such a fun spot for their dinner.

Antonio and Sabrina, it was such a beautiful experience getting to work with you two. Every detail was perfectly in place, and you two radiated joy all day. I am so honored to have been able to help you capture these memories and feelings to look back on year after year. Love you both!
