Allie and Daniels December wedding at Cabins on Strawberry Hill was perfect in every way! Everything went so well that it seemed like something was wrong. Surely wedding days don’t go THIS smooth! But it was smooth, sweet, and touching from start to finish.

And the weather was INCREDIBLE!! It was the warmest of all my Cabins on Strawberry Weddings this year. Crazy, right?! I know you didn’t come here to read about the weather, but you just had to know how perfect every bit of it was!

The Details

Her dress was amazing! Sparkly, fitted to perfection, and it flowed magnificently. It was such a beauty!

How cool are these groom shoes?! Mikaela, my second shooter, and I both absolutely loved them. I love these shots she got of the bottom details.

The Prep

There was hardly a second of the day that Allie was not smiling. It was beautiful to watch her excitement continue to grow and grow.

Daniel prepped in his and Allie’s cabin while she was with her girls. His details and entire ensemble were so sharp!

The First Look

The First Look was a last minute addition to the timeline just days before wedding. It was a sweet moment there in front of the gates to the new ceremony site. After the first look we got to have a peek of their wedding dance while they practiced it in the ceremony space so they could make sure they knew how it worked with her dress. I vote that I get a preview of the First Dance every time! It was awesome!!

We then slipped back out to the gate for some quick portraits and to snag the Wedding Party portraits. The light was so beautiful!!

Ok, are you ready for this? This is one of my favorite images of Allie that we created that day. She absolutely NAILED this pose and shot!!

December Wedding at Cabins on Strawberry Hill: The Ceremony

Have I mentioned how much I love the new ceremony space at the Cabins on Strawberry Hill? It is so classy and beautiful! This was the first time I’d photographed the ceremony there in the sun, and I love how it really lights everything up.

Daniel wrote beautiful beautiful vows. I loved the vows and I loved that they naturally went in for a kiss afterwards because of all the emotion. And I loved Allie’s face when she realized it wasn’t time to kiss yet! It was too cute!

For their unity ceremony they created Mimosas. It was unique and fun! Also…I’m low-key proud that I caught the cork in flight in the first photo below!

“And I now pronounce you…MARRIED!”

Can grazing tables always be a thing? I love this trend so so much.

December Wedding at Cabins on Strawberry Hill: Sunset Portraits

The light could not have been better for Daniel and Allie’s sunset portraits. The forest was all aglow! These two would make anywhere look good, but add them to an already gorgeous spot and it was magic.

It’s always hard to pick a favorite, but I think the shot below is one of my favorites of the two of them during the Sunset Portraits!

Dinner and Reception

Stasha and her incredible team always do the most impeccable job with creating and setting up the decor and making sure everything runs smoothly. The ramada looked incredible!

The dessert table was gorgeous. I love that couples are including multiple types of desserts lately. Options for everyone and it looks so pretty on the table. This beautiful snowy cake was simple perfection!

And then it was time to get the party started!

I may or may not have had to climb up on some tables and lean on the fence and roof of the dj hut to be able to get the group shot…but we got it done!

Daniel and Allie, it has been a delight working with you from day one. Your warmth, care for each other, and light are inspiring. It was evident in everyone’s faces and actions just how much you mean to your friends and family. My heart was touched multiple times throughout the day. It was such a sweet honor to get to help celebrate and capture this page of your love story!
