Pine AZ Engagement Session: Chris and Joelle

Chris and Joelle made the drive up north from the valley for their Pine, AZ Engagement Session in the forest, and they could not have picked a prettier day! We met at a favorite spot up the road from Payson where we could be in the beautiful Ponderosa Pine forest.

They jumped out of the car and hit the ground running. Chris and Joelle have such a fun, energetic, loving, and comfortable energy, which made this session packed full of amazing chemistry and genuine moments.

I have loved getting to email back and forth with Joelle. She is a school teacher and I’ve loved getting to hear about her covid teaching and to get tips on making distance learning better for our kids. She’s incredibly sweet and I’m sure her class just absolutely LOVES her!

Chris and Joelle had a formal engagement party so for their dressy outfits for the session they gave it a “country” touch with the boots and denim. The pop of red was so beautiful in the forest and the blazer was the perfect detail to dress it up. They nailed their outfits!

And they came ready for fun! This was on their must list, and they nailed it!

They were amazing at transitioning from the high energy movement shots to these snuggly and calm shots! It all just felt natural, comfortable, and showed such sweet and different aspects to their chemistry.

There is nothing dull about these two. Chris could tell a random story and Joelle would light up and laugh.

And what better way to make a party out of your engagement session than to invite a couple you love to come and experience your engagement session with you?! The banter back and forth, the fun, and the friendship made the session extra fun. We had to stop and get a shot of them all together at the end!

Chris and Joelle, thank you so much for allowing me to capture this segment of your story together. You have felt like instant online friends from booking! I felt that immediately when I met you there at your engagement session as well. I love the warmth, love, and fun that pours out of you both. I’m so excited and honored to get to be your sidekick! Next year can’t come fast enough so we can party in the forest again!
