Two years ago I met up with Ethan and Emaleah in Payson, AZ for their windy and chilly Feburary engagement session. This past week I got to meet up with them again for their windy and chilly February Gila Valley maternity photos!
We met up near Ft Grant Road to get a beautiful view with southwest vibes to match the gorgeous look they had put together. We drove down the road until we found a spot where the sun might peek through now and again and where the rocks might give us a little bit of a wind shadow. I really do love all the looks of the desert!
We decided to leave the wind shield of the little hill we were on in order to get more of the sweeping views and tall grass. It was more in the wind, but it was completely worth it!

We took a break to sit in the truck with the heater on to thaw out before they changed into the seconds outfits they picked. While they were changing I went out to pick out the next spot. The sun started to peek out beneath the clouds and I knew we had the next place!
Ethan and Emaleah, thanks for braving the cold once again for photos! You guys make it look like a piece of cake on a warm spring day. It’s always a treat to get to be around you guys. It really is such a sweet honor to have been able to capture some of these big moments in your love story. Can’t wait to meet Maverick and get to see that next chapter of your story!
