How do you even start describing such a special celebration?! Clarissa and I met back in Latin 101 at the UofA. We were both English majors with a love for art, and we hit it off quickly. She’s been such a light in our live ever since. So when she told me she was getting married, I was ecstatic!

But also bummed…

Because it was going to be half a world away and we knew we couldn’t make it to Pakistan. Really though, we were over the moon excited for her and loved meeting Abdul a few months later when we all met up in Flagstaff last year (while they were on break from teaching abroad).

To now get to attend their American celebration a year and a half after their marriage AND meet my sweet Quad-Daughter (their baby!!), AND photograph it….my heart overflowed.

Cameron and I road tripped from southeastern Arizona up to northwestern Washington and it was 1000% worth every mile and minute in the car.

Details and Prep

Clarissa and Abdul wore their traditional wedding attire from their Pakistani wedding and it was magnificent!

Sorry grooms…I think Abdul wins for coolest wedding shoes ever!

The bridal cottage was absolutely adorable and had amazing light for Clarissa’s prep! It was so sweet to get to hang out there with her and her mom and sisters.

The Grand Entrance

Once they were both ready (them seeing each other in their wedding clothes again was so cute!), they were able to make their grand entrance to their waiting guests. Cameron got to carry in and present their baby (as the proud Quad-Papa and so she didn’t get snagged on their jewelry/outfits).

Bellingham WA Wedding: The Venue and Dinner

3 C’s Farm was absolutely incredible. The property was so beautiful and well kept. They provided the table decor, place settings, and flowers…and it was all so perfect. She was especially excited for a bride who wanted color!

The food was incredible. It was a mix of American and Pakistani food and everyone went home absolutely stuffed. It was so good. So good!!

Check out that pineapple flower…isn’t that cool?! Clarissa. She made it. And now I want to try!

It was such a beautiful evening with amazing weather, minimal bugs, and fabulous company. I loved watching everyone love on them.

Oh the proud Papa…I loved this moment!

Reception Dances

After Clarissa and Abdul danced together, Clarissa, her sweet baby girl, and her Dad all shared a dance together. I’d never seen a three generation dance at a wedding and it was the sweetest moment!

3 C’s Farm Wedding Portraits

We couldn’t not get some quick portraits of them while they were all dressed up and the light was gorgeous.

And of course Cameron found some friends in the grass.

I got to spend a good part of the rest of the evening snuggling that sweet baby and my heart was so happy. It was an incredible day for an absolutely incredible little family.

Abdul, Clarissa, and Basra…you all have such a dear and sweet spot in my heart. It was beautiful to see you all together, to celebrate with you, and to capture these memories. My arms already miss sweet Basra and I can’t wait to see you all again. Love you with all my heart!
