The day of the engagement session a winter storm hit. Temperatures dropped, the wind picked up, rain and snow pelted down, and Terena’s dreams of a spring look to her engagement photos were disappearing. We decided to postpone for 24 hours and you’ll never believe the difference just a day can make in Arizona in the Spring!

When Abby asked for engagement photos in the Sonoran Desert my heart did happy dances! Springtime in the desert is absolute magic! So much green, life, and beauty. Jacob and Abby got engaged just before the world went crazy, and they have handled all the changes and upheaval with such grace and positivity! These two are so good together!

Each of our babies has made their splash into the world with their own unique entrance into life. Molly was no different, and we’re grateful to have her here and for the little miracles that kept her safe!

Once Cameron graduated, we set out to find our new “Big Kid with a Real Adult Job” rental after he got his first job. We ended up moving from a large 3 bedroom home on a ranch to a 1 bedroom home for a family of soon to be four. And boy was it a learning experience!

Picking blackberries at the end of summer is becoming one of our family traditions here, and this year was one for the books!
